At Benjamin Foods it is our company policy to provide total customer satisfaction by providing our products and services in a safe manner that complies with our customers’ and regulatory requirements.
We aim to ensure that every commitment made to a customer, whether verbal or written, is executed from acceptance to completion in a manner that sets and maintains a level of reliability and service consistent with the requirements and expectations of each customer.
We are dedicated to the education and training of our employees on the importance of continually improving our quality management system through practical examples of how their individual roles are relevant and significant to the contribution of our success.
Benjamin Foods is committed to providing safe, quality, wholesome product to all of our customers. Using the NSF Cook and Thurber guidelines as the framework of our recall policy, we strive to ensure that in the case these procedures need to be called to action, all parties needed are prepared and that implementation and execution will be accomplished with maximum concern for public welfare. The policy is implemented and must be completed in a short time frame in order to prevent additional defective product from being shipped or consumed. Customers, vendors, manufacturers, and regulatory agencies are all simultaneously notified by the company at which time the company provides detailed information regarding the recall at hand.
If defective products reach the market, Benjamin Foods will first classify the category of complaint based on severity and subsequently will take appropriate action. Our detailed recall procedures allow for expediency in final disposition and clarity to the customer throughout the process. In summary, these procedures allow for Benjamin Foods to discover unsafe products, conduct a preliminary investigation, notify the public, define internal roles during a recall, ensure that a recall is effective, and retain documentation on recalls.
To make it easier for people to learn about recalls so they can take all appropriate steps to protect themselves, the FDA has recently launched a consumer-friendly web search. Click http://www.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/default.htm to access the site.
